Is an explanation really necessary? When she was first introduced on the show in the third season, I didn't really like her. I couldn't tell what side she was on, and I found her difficult to read. During the final episodes of S3 I started to like her better, and I was pretty much in love by the time season four reached its half-way mark. Then, in season 5 she went from "favorite female character" to "second favorite character on Lost ever". Her death was easily the most upsetting one of the entire show for me, and I'm still not 100% over it ;_; I love Juliet because she's tough, intelligent, insecure but extremely confident at the same time, selfless, and absolutely fucking beautiful. She doesn't take shit from anyone - Jack, Richard, Sawyer, or Ben. She has shown to be a good manipulator which is a quality I love in fictional characters, but her heart's always been in the right place. During all the headfuckery she and the other Others put the Castaways through in the third season she eventually was strong enough to stand up to Ben and join the other side. She can be ruthless and sometimes, the end justifies the means for her, but ultimately she is one of the few people on the Island who can take a step back, objectively look at what they're doing, and then make a decision based on what's right, and not on how they're currently ~feeling~ looking @ u Jack. Also, she impregnated (well, not personally) a male mouse. BIGGEST HBIC TO EVER HAVE HBIC'D.

Lost 30 Day Challenge! (Masterlist)
» Day 02: Your favorite episode
The Man Behind The Curtain, 3x17. This one was REALLY hard, because Lost has so many good episodes. Off the top of my head: The Constant, Tricia Tanaka Is Dead, Not In Portland, Jughead, The Shape Of Things To Come..but The Man Behind The Curtain has every element that makes a good Lost episode (for me, personally): an angsty backstory, Ben, Richard, Patchy, and awful wigs. Ever since "Henry Gale" was introduced, I'd been dying to know Ben's story, and this episode delivered 100%. Also, I believe this episode is the first one where we got a glimpse of the ever mysterious Jacob, or whoever that was in the cabin!
In other news, I saw Date Night this afternoon. Not that great, but still very funny. Tina Fey + Steve Carell + William Fichtner = I want to go to there. Anyway, when I left the theater I randomly walked into a bookstore I never ever frequent because it looks like a tourist trap, but it turned out they have a HUGE collection of great comics and books for like, 50% of the usual price. I got Northern Lights by Philip Pullman and a Stephen King book for only €10, wut. And before I went to the movies I found a hardcover (!) edition of Locke & Key: Welcome to Lovecraft at ABC for only €9. The regular paperback usually retails for €25! I really shouldn't be spending any money but you guys, Locke & Key is one of the most perfect graphic novels I have ever read. IT IS SO GOOD. Imma upload it for you all.
